Season Opener

O.K. You know you play it watching at home, Wheel Of Fortune. But here at Wheels Rallye Team we have our own version, Wheels of Fortune.

In this VERY simple event, you drive a course, and along the way play variations of the Wheel Of Fortune show.

The rallye features less than one page of general instructions, and in the Wheels tradition is designed to kick off the season in grand fashion.

Only a few gimmicks to keep you honest, and a nice driving course that keeps you away from too much traffic.

   Wheels of Fortune begins at Woodfield Mall parking lot at light pole B-2, just west of the Firestone Tire Center., Registration opens at 6pm with cars off at 7:15pm. Any kind of car or people mover is appropriate. Only $10 per car. Awards at the endpoint. Ends at Barnaby’s in Schaumburg.

Spring Training is OVER, get off your duff and get on out to the second annual Stealing Home, baseball themed rallye designed by the Scramuzzo family. Lots of fun in a nice, easy-to-do event. Information to be updated.

   It’s back, bigger and better than ever as Sue and Lee Thorson and Dennis Dorner take you on another journey into what used to make summer, summer. It’s our annual SUMMER CRUISE.

   This year we will again go to some of the best new and old time drive-ins along an actual cruising route from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. We also will have interesting nostalgia about he areas you go through an the route you are taking. Great for sightseeing as well as just having a good time.

   The course is designed for fun, and we are going to go to a whole bunch of new places. So come on out and enjoy the event.

   Note, this event starts at Woodfield, as do most of the Wheels Rallye Team events. However, cars will go off at 7:05 on this event, Registration will open at 5:45—best to be there by 6:30 at least so you can read the rules before you go.

   We hope to see you get a grand start to the summer season, and coming out on this always special event.
